The library is open on school days, Monday through Thursday 6:45 am – 3:30 pm and Fridays 6:45 am – 3:00 pm.
Items may be borrowed for 3 weeks and renewed as needed. In addition, there is no limit to the number of items a student may check out.
2016 - 2017 LHS Reading Challenge
Each month the LHS Media Center challenges students and staff to read a book from a given category. Those individual who read a book (fiction or nonfiction) from the given category are entered into a drawing for a gift card. Any individual who completes at least four of the eight challenges will be automatically entered into a second-chance drawing in May for a $25 gift card as well as being entered in the monthly challenge drawings. Any individual who completes at least seven of the eight challenges will be automatically entered into both the second chance drawing and a grand prize drawing for a $50 gift card as well as being entered in the monthly challenge drawings.
Challenge #1: Read a book (fiction or nonfiction) that has appeared on the New York Times best seller list. You may also read a book by an author whose other work(s) has appeared on this list.
Entry forms are available in the Media Center.
Challenge #1 ends at 3:30 pm on October 17th.

Loveland High Schools' library serves over 1,400 students and 80 classroom teachers. With 14,561 titles that have been carefully selected to correlate with curriculum, the library circulates about 10,000 items per year. There are many items available for student use: computers, headphones, microphones, audio books, e-books, encyclopedias, online research databases, videos, and music CDs. Instruction includes research skills, research databases, Big6 model, copyright compliance, and computer skills.
